Some interesting links from the end of Feburary:
- OSM Nepal, Open DRI Nepal, Mapbox, and others organized an effort to map Kathmandu’s building footprints as a part of Open Data Day 2013. Groups in DC and Nepal joined in, (as well as yours truly from New York), and the it is quite impressive how much was mapped!
- Code.org launched, with impressive videos telling us that
“Every student in every school should have the opportunity to learn to code.”
Their video on youtube is really inspiring, and is great at motivating why YOU should learn to code.
- Finally, I talk some about formhub on this blog. We put up an intro video for formhub not too long ago, that tell you what the service does for folks. Thought I might as well provide a link here:
